EMILIO CEREZO
Emilio Cerezo is a Spanish painter whose work evolved through various phases, from expressive painting focused on the use of stains and color, to creating evocative atmospheres in landscapes and interior scenes. He shows a growing interest in distortion, noise, and abstraction, achieved through progressive synthesis of his painting. In his recent works, he aims to experiment with the integration of painting, moving images, and sound. His notable public space interventions include participating in numerous mural painting events in Spain, France, Italy, Germany, Kosovo, the United States, and Brazil. His studio work has been exhibited individually and collectively in Murcia, Barcelona, Bilbao, Madrid, Berlin, Miami and Tokyo, among others.
